Drop In Vs. Progressive Classes

  • Drop In Class Description

“Drop In” means you can attend these classes at any time. These classes does not build upon themselves through a series and there is no choreography involved. As such, you can join these classes at anytime throughout the year. In general, Yoga, Zumba, Barre and anything fitness related are often considered Drop In style classes.

 

  • Progressive Class Description

Most of our dance classes are labelled as “Progressive”. As such, most of these classes run in the following terms: Fall (Sept – Dec), Winter (Jan – March), Spring (April – June) & Summer (July & August). Progressive classes are registration based and there are cut off days each term usually 3 weeks into each new semester. After these dates, registration is closed, and participants must wait until the following term to join a progressive class. Progressive classes will not only focus on foundations and techniques but will also feature choreography. Participants are given optional performance opportunities throughout the year.
