Studio Terms & Conditions

  • If you access and use Let’s Move Studio (the “Studio”)/LMS Website (the “Site”), you accept and agree to be bound by and comply with these terms (the “Terms”). If you do not accept the Terms, do not use Let’s Move Studio (the “Studio”)/LMS Website (the “Site”).

General

  • All products and services of Shift Enterprises and Let’s Move Studio and its subsidiaries and affiliates are subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable agreements governing their use.
  • The information, material and content provided in the pages here and the Site (the “Information”) may be changed at any time without notice. Changes may be made to the Terms at any time without notice by updating this posting. You agree to review the Terms regularly and your continued access or use of the Studio/Site will mean that you agree to any changes.
  • Information published in the Studio, in these pages or on this website is provided for the use of its visitors for general information and you are advised that, although care has been taken to ensure technical and factual accuracy, some errors may occur.  Shift Enterprises, Let’s Move Studio, and all associated third parties provide no warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this for any particular purpose.  You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors, and we expressly fully exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors permitted by law.

  • Any unprotected E-Mail communication over the Internet is, as with communication via any other medium, not confidential, subject to possible interception or loss, and is also subject to possible alteration.  Shift Enterprises and Let’s Move Studio accept no liability for anything associated with uncontrolled internet e-mail.

  • From time to time, this website may include links to other websites.  These links are provided for your convenience to provide further information.  They do not signify that we endorse the website(s).  We have no responsibility for the content of the linked website(s).

Payment for Products & Services

  • All classes are payable in advance via the current payment options which are available.  Only in exceptional circumstances will deferred, partial payments, refunds or service credits be considered and these requests will be considered and approved only by the owner of Shift Enterprises, Let’s Move Studio or an elected administrative official.
  • Fees remain payable in cases of absence.  In general, there are no reductions or refunds for sickness or holidays.  Only in exceptional circumstances will refunds/service credits be considered, and these requests will be considered and approved only by the owner of Shift Enterprises or Let’s Move Studio or an elected administrative official.
  • All Credit Cards will be processed in Canadian Dollars at the time of payment.  Shift Enterprises and Let’s Move Studio are not responsible for any fees, charges, exchange rates or additional charges levied by individual financial institutions or Credit Card companies.
  • Shift Enterprises and Let’s Move Studio reserve the right to change the fees without prior notice.

Schedule

  • Shift Enterprises and Let’s Move Studio reserve the right to change the schedule without prior notice.
  • In general, most classes scheduled on National and Provincial holidays will be cancelled and no classes will be offered in lieu.
  • Shift Enterprises and Let’s Move Studio will endeavor wherever possible to inform participants of last-minute schedule updates via email/text/push notification.

Studio Code/Etiquette

  • Respect the flow: In reception keep voices low when class is in session
  • Shoes Off: No outdoor shoes inside (Only clean bare feet, socks, dance shoes or indoor gym shoes with white soles are allowed on the studio floor.
  • Be Punctual: Arrive on time, stay till the end
  • Pre-Yoga Quiet Time: Minimize chit-chat before yoga class
  • Silence your phone: No distractions, just good vibes
  • Fresh & Clean: Good hygiene = Good energy
  • Keep it Safe: Store valuables in your car
  • Clean Up: Sanitize & tidy your props after class
  • Be Present: Mind, body & breath
  • MOST IMPORTANT: HAVE FUN!
  • Sign into every class in advance by using the Let’s Move Studio App or online under “Schedule” at www.letsmovestudio.com
  • The studio is a place to collectively gain mind, body and spirit health and awareness.  Classes and instructors who encourage this growth will be promoted here.
  • We collectively welcome all people and support an environment that is positive, enjoyable and inclusive.
  • The Studio is a dynamic ever-changing environment and is used to suite various wants and needs of many different people.  As such, please take out whatever you bring in and as an individual clear the studio space in accordance with the current studio schedule.
  • Let’s Move Studio is a scented environment and could include the use of various scents including but not limited to cleaners, essential oils, essential oil diffusers, deodorants, and air misters.  Let’s Move Studio assumes no responsibility for participants choosing to enter this location with sensitivities, allergies or a dislike to fragrance.

Lost/Stolen Property

  • Shift Enterprises and Let’s Move Studio does not accept the responsibility for items that are lost or stolen although any found items will be placed in the lost property location. Items will be kept for no more than 1 month and donated if not claimed within this timeframe.

 

Return/Refund/Cancellation Policy

 Services

Regular Scheduled Classes

  • In general, no refunds on regular scheduled classes are offered unless an exceptional circumstance is present.
  • If you are unable to attend a program due to an exceptional circumstance out of your control, we can offer you a refund if you notify us prior to your session start date.
    • We charge a 30% cancellation/processing fee.  This cancellation fee may be avoided if you opt for a service credit instead of a refund.
    • Note: Service credits are valid for 90 days only.
    • A 100% service credit can be put towards a future class registration, unlimited membership or item of the equal value if an exceptional circumstance is present.
    • In the event an exceptional circumstance exists after a portion of the class registration or unlimited membership has been used, the refund/service credit will be pro-rated for the number of weeks or number of sessions left on the previously purchased term.
    • In the event of a refund, a 30% pro-rated cancellation/processing fee will still apply
    • All refunds/service credits are considered on a case-by-case basis and approved only by the owner of Shift Enterprises, Let’s Move Studio or an elected administrative official.

Membership Terms & Conditions

  • All memberships are 6 – 12 months in length and cannot be cancelled.
  • Monthly membership dues are charged once per month on the date the membership is activated.
  • All charges are processed virtually against a credit card or VOID cheque banking (PAD Form).
  • GST will be added to all membership dues.
  • Various membership levels include different things.  All memberships include Unlimited classes and additional perks at Let's Move Studio downtown. Please consult our webpage under the Prices tab for additional information for what is included in each membership tier.
  • Offsite Specialty classes are not included in the basic Platinum VIP membership tier (Including but not limited to: Spin, Progressive Dance at alternate locations & more)
  • Let’s Move Studio charges an annual fee of $25 + GST once every year on September 1.
  • 12 Month Elite/Diamond/Platinum VIP Members can put their membership on hold for no charge for up to 30 days with 30 days notice at anytime by emailing the request to info@letsmovestudio.com
  • No holds can be issued on memberships less than 12 months in length.
  • We allow a 30-day Hold for all members for vacation or travel once per year.
  • Medical holds will be approved on a case-by-case basis to a maximum of an additional 30 days once per year.
  • Any hold will extend the yearly commitment (term) by the length of hold.
  • Memberships will be automatically renewed for an additional 12 month term at the same price unless 30 days notice is given by emailing info@letsmovestudio.com. This does not apply to 1-year memberships paid in full if purchased at a discount. These will renew at our current regular rates upon expiry.
  • Let's Move Studio requires 3 hours cancellation notice for any reserved spots in classes.  If reservations are cancelled late or clients do not show up for classes, they will be charged a $10 fee that will be automatically applied to their account.  All reservations and cancellations must be made directly through the Let's Move Studio Application.
  • I understand that all inquiries and requests should be directed to: info@letsmovestudio.com and that Let's Move Studio staff respond to emails in the priority sequence in the order that they are received. I understand it may and require up to 5 business days for a response. 

Private Trainings/Classes/Workshops & Consulting

  • Shift Enterprises and Let’s Move Studio are not liable or responsible for any terms and conditions, quality control or returns/refunds for all private trainings/classes/workshops/consulting which are offered through our studio through a third party.
  • Please consult with the individual/business hosting the private training/class/workshop/consulting regarding all terms, conditions and policies associated with the offering and your private agreement between this individual/business.
  • A 30% non-refundable fee of the entire booking will be charged to secure the private booking.  A credit card must be provided at the time of booking to secure this transaction.  (Name as it appears on the card, expiry date, security code on the back of the card and postal code as it matches the billing address of the card)
  • The balance for private bookings is due in full 1 week prior to the event date and will be automatically charged to the card on file.

Poster Policy

  • Thanks for wanting to share with our community! Our intention is to keep our wall fresh, relevant, and valuable for our members.
  • Unfortunately, we’re unable to accommodate most poster requests — thank you for understanding the space and time limitations. Due to the high volume of poster requests and limited space in our studio, we have a clear policy to help us manage what goes up on our “What’s Fresh” wall:
  • We only display posters for:
    • Events or workshops physically hosted at Let’s Move Studio
    • Events that are run by us off-site
    • Events we are a direct sponsor of
  • If you have something valuable to offer in exchange (like a discount, tickets to your event/workshop, service, or collaboration)? We’re open to mutually beneficial arrangements. Please send your idea/request to: info@letsmovestudio.com

Privacy & Security Policy

  • Shift Enterprises and Let’s Move Studio respect the privacy of its customers.  Shift Enterprises and Let’s Move Studio will never sell, trade, rent, disclose, or distribute its e-mail subscriber/newsletter list or any other personal information to any third party, nor shall it permit anyone else to do so.  To opt out of emails/text/push notifications from our sites please email the request to: info@letsmovestudio.com.  However, Shift Enterprises and Let’s Move Studio does occasionally make available its list of those registrants who have expressly provided us with their permission to receive information from approved Shift Enterprises and Let’s Move Studio partners.
