I've loved to dance all my life! I discovered Bellydance in 1989 in Berlin, Germany, and I knew I had found my passion instantly. My talented friend Katharina was my first teacher. I started to teach Bellydance in Berlin in 1994. When I moved to Kamloops, Canada, I began teaching at Juergen's Arjuna Yoga Studio until my friend Martina and I opened the LET'S MOVE Yoga & Dance Studio in 2000. I am the owner and manager of Let's Move.
I have been very fortunate to study with many talented instructors throughout my career. The ones that have inspired me the mostare: Ferouz, Amaya, Hadia, Raqia Hassan, Rachel Brice, Sharon Kihara, Kami Liddle, Zoe Jakes, Kajira Djoumahna, Suhaila Salimpur and Urban Tribal Dance Company.
After many years of strictly cabaret style Bellydance I fell in love with tribal fusion style Bellydance, and now combine traditional and modern style Bellydance as well as tribal fusion elements in my classes.
I am the founder and creative director of the "Fatamorgana Bellydancers" which perform in and around Kamloops at special events, festivals and shows.
Bellydance has brought me a lot of personal pleasure which I love to share with my dancers.
I continue to seek inspiration from my friends, dancers, instructors and students. |

Namaste! I've been practicing yoga for almost 13 years. My love for yoga quickly grew into something I wanted to share. 200hr certified in Rishikesh in Northern India by my teacher Yogi Vishvketu, I am also in the process of becoming 500hr certified as a therapist with Integrative Yoga Therapy at Kripalu. I teach Akhanda yoga which is a holistic hatha yoga incorporating meditation, asana, mantras, mudras and lots of breathwork to invigorate the mind and body. Classes are fun and relaxing with an emphasis on yoga's power to bring greater health and fulfillment on all levels of our being.

I started dancing at the age of 3, studying classical ballet for 15 years. Always following my passion, I continued to dance through life. It wasn't until much later that I became interested in the wellness industry. Now a BCRPA Fitness Leader, I am a registered teacher of Group Fitness, Yoga, and Weight Training. Also, I am very proud to be a Licensed White Belt Nia Teacher.
I have become fortunate enough, through my studies, to have designed a very unique workout class, in the form of, "Nia Dance Fusion", combining world dance styles, healing arts and basic martial arts.
You simple must taste "Nia Dance Fusion" for the tremendous amount of power and grace you will experience through, "your body's way". I also enjoy empowering other women in my presentation of "Divalicious", a workshop designed specifically for women. A combination of jazz, cabaret and burlesque/striptease style movements combined to create a diva driven approach to fitness. "Divalicious" is a two hour workshop, coming soon. Check in "events" for the next "Divalicious"
