Tribal Fusion Bellydance ~ Claire
90 min... Is a contemporary form of bellydance that incorporates many dance styles. It is based on Traditional and American Tribal Style bellydance but includes various other musical and dance elements including bollywood, burlesque, lyrical and hip hop to name a few. This class incorporates muscle toning exercises and repetitive movements that are needed to learn and master basic bellydance techniques. These basic elements will be used to create combinations and eventually, dynamic choreography.
The Practice ~ Katrina
120 min... This is a super fun intermediate/advanced level practice, open to experirnced students and teachers. Now, sometimes people are too intimidated by the word "advanced" so to give an idea, if a student has a strong practice, can kick up to handstand at the wall by themselves (even if they don't always get up), and is able to do Urdhva Dhanurasana on their own (Full Wheel, even with props at the wall is okay), then they should come out and play. In "The Practice" I'm actually practicing with everyone, and people can bring in requests for poses that maybe wouldn't be done in an all levels class.
